Job Description

The Advanced System Group within Dell's Small and Medium Business unit (SMB) is seeking candidates to join one of the fastest growing segments within Dell. Technical Sales Reps are viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the customer and uses in-depth knowledge of Dell's Enterprise technology, products and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction. They will utilize strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative business solutions.

The individual in this position will work with small and medium relationship business customers to price, quote, negotiate, provide technical product information and provide overall support on an ongoing basis via the telephone. The candidate must be capable of organizing and extensively communicating within Dell and its customers.

Requirements:

·  The candidate must have strong customer relationship skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and planning skills.

·  The individual in this position must be self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal direction.

·  Stays abreast of current industry trends and how Dell2019s customers are being impacted to help solve specific market challenges in targeted industries.

·  Previous relationship sales and new account development experience, preferably in a commissioned sales environment.

·  Candidates must have in depth knowledge of Dell Servers and workstations, network operating systems and peripherals.

·  A bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 2-3 years sales or related experience is preferred.
